Rafting in the Wild

Join us as we go whitewater rafting on the Middle Ocoee, “America’s most popular river trip” with five miles of rapids. Please note this is a half day guided experience in Benton, Tennessee.

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING:

  • Registration opens Thursday, May 28th at 7 PM on Heylo.

  • Total Cost: $60 (excluding taxes)

  • Commitment: This is a full-day experience. 2 hour drive to Tennessee, 3 hours whitewater rafting, and 2 hour drive back to Atlanta. Please prepare to stay for the full duration.

  • What’s Included: Rafts, paddles, life jacket, helmet, and instructors.

  • Transportation: Attendees are responsible for their own transportation to and from this activity.

  • Experience Level: All skill levels and genders welcome.

  • Ages: Must be 12 or older. An adult must accompany minors (17 and under).

  • What to Wear: Clothes that can get wet and water shoes with a back heel strap. No flip flops or Crocs allowed!

  • What to Bring: A waterproof bag, dry change of clothes, dry shoes, towel, water, snacks, and any medication or assistive devices. Review our Amazon Storefront here.

  • Parking: Free. Leave all personal belongings in your car.

  • Coming solo? Don’t stress, you'll make a new friend!

  • Weather: Event will be cancelled if weather is inclement.

  • Policies & Waiver: By registering, you agree to the Peace in the Wild Participant Agreement & Waiver. Additional waivers may be required on-site.
