Growing in the Wild

Join us to learn how to grow your own food and preserve it. Lawrence of Seals Family Farm will lead this 4-hour workshop will cover gardening basics and the inversion canning method for seasonal produce. Lunch and a social break is included!

PLEASE READ BEFORE REGISTERING:

  • Registration opens on Thursday, April 30th at 7 PM.

  • Commitment: This is a four hour experience. Please prepare to stay for the full duration.

  • Total Cost: $65 (excluding taxes)

  • What’s Included: Professional instructor, curriculum, all materials, and lunch.

  • Lunch: Will be a vegetarian meal. If you have strict dietary restrictions, please bring your own.

  • Experience Level: All skill levels, genders, and abilities welcome.

  • Ages: Must be 12 or older. An adult must accompany minors (17 and under).

  • Bring: Closed-toe shoes, attire that can get dirty, water, snacks, sunscreen, and any medication or assistive devices you need.

  • Parking: Free.

  • Coming solo? Don’t stress, you'll make a new friend!

  • Weather: Event will be cancelled if weather is inclement.

  • Policies & Waiver: By registering, you agree to the Peace in the Wild Participant Agreement & Waiver. Additional waivers may be required on-site.

Please only register if you're certain you can attend. All sales are final, no exceptions.
